Do you think Fitz knows the term "Fitzmas"? |
|
Do you think he's aware of the cult status he's achieved on the lefty Web?
I know he's not surfing DU and the blogs, but I wonder if he's at all aware that we're all going Fitz-crazy!

It's really kind of silly of all of us. |
|
But considering how fucked up things are, we gotta grab every sliver of hope we can.

13. cue music: For Fitzgerald's Team: Do They Know Its Fitzmas? |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 02:55 PM by the_spectator
It's Fitzmastime There's no need to be afraid At Fitzmastime, we let in light and we banish shade And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy Throw your arms around the world at Fitzmastime
But say a prayer
Pray for the other ones At Fitzmastime it's hard, but when you're having fun There's a world inside their office Flourescents' artificial pall Where the only water flowing is in the cooler down the hall And the Fitzmas bells that ring there are their buzzing blackberries Well tonight thank God it's them instead of me -
And there won't be joy in cubicles this Fitzmastime The greatest gift they'll get's their puny check (G-Men lawyers' pay's so low Pirvate-firm guys laugh, you know) So do they know it's Fitzmastime at all?
(Here's to you) raise a glass for Fitzgerald's Team (Here's to them) working nights while others dream Do they know it's Fitzmastime at all?
Spread the word, Spread the word, Spread the Word - Let them know it's Fitzmastime again!

if he was told, it probably didn't register. He is focused on the investigation, period.

7. He's Catholic; he'd probably think it sacrilege. |
|
Or at least in poor taste. (The suffix -mas, as in Christmas, Candlemas, etc., traditionally denotes a day of Christian, and more specifically Catholic, religious obligation.)

16. In traditional Catholicism it referred to any holiday... |
|
..usually associated with canonized saints. Now, whether or not DU has "canonized" Fitzgerald prematurely, I leave it up to you.
I will note that all kinds of wierdos have been canonized officially over the years, including (apparently) the actual St. Nicholas!
ANd they all got their own saint's days (including St. Nicholas, separate from Christmas, and associated people/canonized minor deities that never actually existed, in attempts by the early church to be "ecumenical")
So there's some precedent ;-)

He's a workaholic and probably hasn't paid attention to anything but the case....he has tunnel vision in that regard and that's good.
I need to comment about the speculation that Fitz is bobbing and weaving to force Bush to make a move....I don't think so.
I think politics is the last thing on Fitzgerald's mind.
You know, even if he is a Republican, he'd make a damned fine Supreme Court Justice don't you think? Totally blind to anything but the law...I kind of like that.

20. He's NOT a Republican. |
|
He once registered as an Independent, then withdrew his registration when he realized it was a political party. He's an unknown in terms of his political views. He's a law enforcer in the purest sense of the word. And yes, I think he'd make an awesome SCJ.

And that's one of the reasons why he is extending the Grand Jury. Everyone who has called him that will get indicted! He knows who you are! :silly:

Then he can have a good laugh. If not he'll just have to learn to live with it.
