New Trial Balloon: CIA Ran A Plot Against The President
Damn they are getting desperate.

I can't believe they are actually sending this one up.

I guess covering your own butt when you see some idiot screwing up means you're in a conspiracy against the idiot.

5. Cliff Kincaid:The Untold Story: Joseph Wilson, Judith Miller And The CIA
It is real dumb

http://www.gopusa.com/commentary/ckincaid/2005/ck_10251.shtml

<snip>

The savage left-wing attack on Judith Miller from inside and outside of the New York Times completely misses the point. She is under attack for being a lackey of the Bush Administration when she failed to do the administration and the public a big favor. She could have done a potential Pulitzer Prize-winning story that could have broken the Joseph Wilson case wide open. It is a story exposing the Wilson mission to Africa as a CIA operation designed to undermine President Bush.

The Bush gang hurt the CIA. Now the CIA is going to get theirs.

6. Given their standards, it WAS a plot against the Pres,
in that Joseph Wilson and Valerie Plame actually did their jobs, instead of lying so that the Pres/Rove/etc got what they wanted...false evidence.

Their standards are so fucked up. They don't even CARE that the bush admin is engaging in criminal behavior, they're just pissed off that people are exposing them...

7. My response: SO WHAT?!
We have the CIA running ops against a fake President then, the only people who would be opposed to this would be the same people who supported fake Presidents like they did in Chile.

For once, the CIA is opposing a Tyrant instead of supporting one, and I think I should applaud this White Hat Faction of the CIA.

9. Wow! If the RW actually signs on to this strategy
we'll finally learn which of them are gay, have dead girlfriends buried in Virginia and are actually double agents for foreign powers.

It's not nice to fool with the CIA.

answers that only make bush's position worse. Repugs shouldn't go there.

Secret Trotskyite conspiracies to overthrow the people's republic.

Enemies everywhere trying to undo the glorious revolution.

18. Yes, armed with the truth the CIA plotted to reveal Bush's lies that took
the nation into war. LOL They really think this line of attack is going to help the Administration?

It's along the lines of "Bush was furious with Rove for being so sloppy on the Plame leaks" chronologically before Bush publicly said he knew nothing, nothing at all about any of it. And may have told Fitz the same thing.

they were jsut blaming democrats yesterday. Now it's the CIa that hates bush? I wish they'd make up their minds. Can't they just stand up and accept responsibility for their actions? They have more excuses for doing wrong than my 12 yeard old.

23. The CIA outsmarted Cheney is what happened.
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 03:49 PM by Neil Lisst
Let's get in THE WAYBACK MACHINE and return to 2002. Suddenly after a year of gonna get Osama, they switched seamlessly to gonna get Saddam.

Dropping back into their pre 1999 invade Iraq under any ruse game plan, the Cheniestas launched in 2002 the war juggernaut. The administration kept using bogeymen of chemical and biological warfare threats, and the public yawned. So they had to come up with the nuclear threat.

WE DON'T WANT THE SMOKING GUN TO BE A MUSHROOM CLOUD.

Yeah, right. Shut up, wingers.

So in this atmosphere, they needed that lead pipe cinch, and the Niger forgery was essential to that. Who asked the CIA to check it out? THAT is the guy who created the forgery. Cheney is in this up to his neck, the forgery, the false intel, the outing of Plame, the whole thing. All Cheney.

The CIA smelled a rat, and sent Wilson to find out the truth. He did reveal the fraud, and that should have been it, but Cheney and Libby used the info anyway.

Did Bush know? Probably not. They like his mind full of speech lines and empty of everything else.

You don't want to go there, friend. Don't want to make CIA conspiracy
theories "fair game" in the media either...

To Quote Matt Damon in Bourne Supremacy "I told you people not to come after me."
