OH SNAP! Big Ed puts the smack down on Schumer (formerly Kerry's) argument
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 04:00 PM by Leopolds Ghost
Posted in a new message 'cuz it's important...

"THERE WOUDN'A BEEN A VOTE! No WMDs. No Ballistic missiles. No evidence for war. No reason to go to war! 2,000 deaths for nothing!"

This in response to a Schumer supporter defending the "thoughtful" approach that the vote for IWR was a vote for inspections, not war.

If only Kerry had listened to Big Ed, not that phony populist Shrum!

Big Ed also pointed out when the guy said "the argument for voting for IWR, even today, is..."

"You can't explain that in the media! You can't make that argument on TV. It's not explainable. The answer has to be no."

On Edit: Ed Schultz Show on AAR -- still taking calls about the Schumer thing.

4. Really?
I thought it meant "oh... shit". As in you can say it in public but it still means "oh... shit". Anyone else with a meaning on this?

2. Oh Snap

First known usage was by the 1980's rap song "Just a Friend" by Biz Markie. Its a "rated G" way of saying "oh shit"So I came to her room and opened the door
Oh, snap! guess what I saw?
A fella tongue-kissin’ my girl in the mouth,
I was so in shock my heart went down south
So please listen to the message that I say
Don’t ever talk to a girl who says she just has a friend

9. Sweeet. ...And All Thanks To...

The Biz was one of the few early Hip-Hop dudes I could get into. I thought he was funnier than snap.

2. (formerly Kerry's) argument
which Kerry himself has now (finally!!) renounced.

So, what's wrong with Sen Schumer?

7. Too much AIPAC money?
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 03:57 PM by Leopolds Ghost

AIPAC is mostly conservative, Orthodox Jewish Americans, right??

I understand they aren't even potentially in touch with what
Israeli's think.

Why isn't there a liberal PAC for people that support Israel but
not the occupation?

Edited to note: many GENUINE orthodox Jews, like GENUINE Protestants
and GENUINE Shi'ite Muslims, oppose the existence of an explicitly
religious state that advances their particular beliefs.
