So it seems we are wrong. Plame was NOT covert. Her status was WELL known in Washington D.C. We apologize. In order to put this ridiculous Fitzgerald investigation to bed, I respectfully ask that anyone who knew of Plame's status before she was "outed" in the media, please contact:
Patrick J. Fitzgerald, Special Counsel Bond Federal Building 1400 New York Avenue, NW, Ninth Floor Washington D.C. 20530
I am sure he'll only have a few questions for you, and let you get on with your day. Please be sure to demand that you be questioned under oath. Thank You.
I can believe they still use this excuse.

3. One of the weaker tidbits. |
|
Al Franken had David Brock on today, speaking of how some of the dumber talking points were reappearing months after we thought they had been completely debunked. The "everybody knew" was one, and "didn't use her name" was the another.

4. You should have heard Rush today.... |

Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 05:55 PM by KerryOn
I don't normally listen to Rush, but today on my lunch hour I sat in my truck listening to Al Franken on AAR. During the commercial break I switched over to Rush. What a joke!
He was trying to say that Joe Wilson himself outed Valarie several months before Novak's column simply by stating his wife's name in a letter or something. No mention that she was covert just simply stated his wife's name! (Hello, I would like you to meet my wife. I'm sorry I can't tell you her name because she works for the C... Ah well I can't tell you her name.)
He also claimed that a public web site shows that she gave $ to Gores campaign and since it listed her employer as Brewster Jennings & Associates, he assumed that it was then public knowledge she was covert CIA!
A caller phoned in to try and set him straight and Rush said something like: :Well ah, you see, ah, well it is the whole big picture you have to look at. Not just one thing but when you put everything together, its obvious that everyone new she was convert."
Do those on the right actually listen to the garbage coming out of this guys mouth?

All my tx in laws believe it! IT IS WHERE THEY GO TO GET THEIR NEWS!!! Ive tried to argue but they buy their kool-aid in bulk at Sams Club so its no use. Plus they hate me 'cause I turned my wife into an "un-american Jesus hater". haha. For the record I'm a SGT in the Army. Im glad they "support our troops*"

6. I support you Sgt. Renegade Six! |
|
A have one brother in law out of five that supports this stuff. I know that two others stand with me, and the rest I'm not sure about. I'm not even sure where my own mother stands anymore. Last summer I nearly got into a fist fight with this brother in law, so now no one talks politics anymore. But when I come in to town I make certain that I park my truck where they can all see my bumper stickers. "Bush Lied", Bush Lies", Troops Out Of Iraq Now!"
I salute you for serving your country Sgt.
Take Care
