5. They don't know any more than we do.
Network News really is useless, these days. We're way ahead of them on every aspect of this story.

11. I've found that no one at DU seems to watch CBS or comment on their
"news."

Every time I've mentioned something I've seen on the Early Show (which I watch because the local news that leads into it is excellent, and it's an entertaining train wreck), no one here has seen it or seems to care.

14. there are several other CBS news threads
on the latest page right now, but not about Rove indictment. I looked mostly in LBN tho.

hell, i don't even know if i heard it correctly, but that's what i thought i heard.

the 'early show' is a train wreck, but the nightly is okay at best.

9. I suspect its gonna be a _new_ grand jury
that way you get no extension on this grand jury, but continuation of the investigation.

There have been rumors to that effect half the day

10. That's what I think
The news media was just sloppy and probably didn't understand the difference between extending a grand jury and impaneling a new one.

12. I agree...
this is the worst excuse for news in America in forever. Ed Murrow is rolling in his grave. :(

13. That certainly doesn't qualify as knowledge
We must remain agnostic about the whole thing until we see and hear Fitzgerald give the press conference announcing the indictments. Also, we must wait to know for certain that the grand jury has been extended; either when Fitz himself announces it, or someone involved directly in the investigation does. Otherwise we should remain agnostic about whether or not the GJ has been extended.

15. It's because no one knows anything.
Except for the people in that GJ room (Fitz, judge, and GJ), everyone is in the dark here.
