He has the mind of a child. |
|
What we have now in this country is the result of allowing the power-brokers to choose and install someone completely malleable to their forces. Look at what's happening with the religious crazoids: They're getting ready to cut him loose, because it turns out he wasn't one of them, he just pretended to be one of them to get elected. In fact, he's not one of anybody, he's just an empty suit into which this neo-con power structure has poured an illegal war, degradation of the environment and enrichment of the rich. This is a guy with no adult interests or tastes, a foolish child-king so carefully stage-managed, posed and propped up that corporate inhumanity has become our national tone. No wonder his erstwhile constituencies are falling away; there's no leadership from a cabal, which is what occupies this smirking puppet.
End of rant. Carry on.

1. A dull child with little imagination or initiative. |

I would trust most children I know to do a much better job than he has done.

5. They may throw him over. But I think Cheney goes. |
|
Cheney's mistake lays in not arranging for W's departure immediately after the "election." Now, it's tough, and as powerful as Cheney - the old timer - is, the Rove/DeLay/Enron (et al) grouping used him, too, with his willing acquiesance. Promises were made. Ever see the movies, Godfather I and II? Bush must be kept in place. He and his relatives represent dynasty and permanent power. Cheney has been useful, but is expendable. Rove throws him over.
