Delphi makes offer to UAW to lift the company from bankruptcy..Delphi wants to cut wages for production workers from aprox $27.00hr to $9.50 to $10.50 with workers paying for their own health insurance...
Plus many more concessions This is an AP story from my local paper....

1. hey, I wanna work for free!
I hope my company goes under, so that I can do this and show my undying support for corporate greed. After all, surely there is some CEO out there who is having trouble making the payments on his 3rd home in Tahiti. I am the worker - I should suffer!! I work only to know that someone else can reap the benefits. I expect nothing for myself except a parking spot, and maybe a free pizza lunch once a year. Please - take my weekends. What do i need them for?? The kids have TV - they love it.

2. But at that rate, you don't work for free- you pay to work.
With fuel prices, and those fuel prices affecting prices of just about everything else, like food and work clothes, you would probably end up going into the hole very quickly.

Gonna be cheaper to stay home (or under a bridge) and eat money any day now for a lot of American workers.

3. $9-10 seems to be the going rate now.
If you are (now) an hourly worker seeking unemployment, that seems to be the norm. Great, I haven't worked for that amount in 30 years. Downward mobility, now I know I was a success! I guess I will see you under that bridge.
