Don't worry about it. Everyone has to argue for their religious/political/whatever beliefs once in awhile, so it's just another (kind of annoying) part of being here. You could try to avoid religious conversations (aka flame-wars), or just ignore over-zealous criticism of Christianity. I know what you mean, but it's really no problem when you look at it, just laugh it off.
