What is it with Christians persecuting us pagans? (used loosely)
they are all over the place crying how we are attacking them. We are not the enemy. If they aimed at the fundamentalists with the force that they whine about the non "religious" community, maybe every public word spoken word in the media would not be from hitler youth pope or nutso whore monger preachers.
I do not disagree with Christ's teaching(from his own words). I have doubts when they try to teach bible as a science. It was a group of stories to teach a bunch of tribes wandering in the wilderness. Churches are human things, hence prone to error. The main error
committed by todays christians is that they allowed this war to go unchallenged, and like democrats, they rolled over. Yeah I know you anglicans are a liberal lot, but where was the hierarchy and middle management when time came to speak up? Why weren't the leaders condemned by the liberal churches in a very public way? There are ways... they were not taken. They should all pay taxes or at least be subject to audit

1. Well, you're not talking to this Christian, that's for sure.
Some of my best friends are Pagans!

WHO is attacking me? I shall SMITE THEM!

Or is that smote? Is smote past tense? Can I smote someone or will I have smoted them?

Dammit.

(My church is the Unitarian Universalist church and they sure as hell DID speak up against the war! Still are! Rock on UU churches!)

they try to convince others that they are christians by telling others rather than leading by example. yes i`m a believer of christ`s message and try to lead my life by my actions.

3. Persecution complex. And it's not all Christians
The story of Jesus is all about stuggle and persecution. Unfortunatly that doesn't go very well with our modern day neo-con fat cats. I doubt most Christians really sympathize with tomorrrows political convicts. Jesus certainly wouldn't.

But then what do I know. I'm a pagan too.

7. Is there a such thing as Christian Pagans or Pagan Christians?
I would think not but according to this site http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/redir?src=websearch&requestId=97121bc27f6c7998&clickedItemRank=8&userQuery=christian+pagans&clickedItemURN=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sunfell.com%2Fcrossing.htm&title=Crossing+Borders

And this search
http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/search?invocationType=topsearchbox.webhome&query=christian+pagans

the possibility is there...

Personally, I no longer claim any religion. I don't like being labeled and boxed.

12. Pagan by definition means
basically just "not christian" so I don't think pagan-christian would be a valid term.

11. Perhaps I should add...
... That it's ignorance we're fighting, not the Christian religion

So some people don't get the wrong idea.
