Will the joy of Fitzmas make up for the pain of losing the election |
|
as if this was what was meant to happen? Kerry had to lose so that we could watch these fools get their just desserts.
I could live with that if it weren't for the steep cost we will have to pay for having the Chimperor smirking from the top.

bad has happened and people have been hurt. So, no it won't take away the pain of losing the election. And BTW, part of the pain of losing the election to me is that it wasn't lost, it was stolen. That is bad for America.

It was stolen. We will begin repairing our democracy when the Chimperor is in jail. Stand by.

Same time as DeLay, Frist, Miers, Fitzmas.

then I saw the other replies. If these idiots get what's their's, all the losses of blood and treasure would be somewhat mitigated, but never totally. Yes, I would celebrate the fall of Bushco, but still a helluva price to pay.

6. I am hoping that once this is exposed that the stolen election will |
|
be also exposed, because people that would cook intelligence to create a cause for war, can also be the ones that could and would steal an election in order to have that war.
This and DSM all of it is connected, including getting themselves in the position in which to achieve it.
Follow the money...a famous quote.
Of course I may just be dreaming of Sugar plums and dancing elves this Fitzmas eve.

Hopefully we'll win back the House and Senate and can hold real hearings and get the truth out about everything from 9/11 to Iraq to 2004. I do believe everything happens for some purpose. Maybe karma?

is so high by now that nothing COULD EVER make up for it...
Sorry, kind of cranky tonight...too much waiting and this admin has past too many things that are against the lower income families, I just can't think of a single thing that can make up for all the damage, cost and destruction this admin has caused...

stuff lets you let go of so much fear from the elections and begin to feel secure again - that the neocons can only go so far - Grief is complicated. You can feel thrilled to be back in a country with some basis of morals that reflect what you know to be good.
But the relief of getting your country back may feel like joy at the creeps being indicted when in fact it is joy at relief of being safe.
Nothing will ever make up for some of their neocon policies. They've done much damage.

The betrayal of democracy by the press, the Republicans, the Democratic establishment, the lazy and apathetic populace -cannot be 'made up for'.

|
Edited on Thu Oct-27-05 12:35 AM by LSK
Rove, Libby would still have been indicted. We would have still been able to watch them go down. And perhaps we wouldnt have had a Katrina disaster.
So the answer is no. Too much damage is done. Watching Kerry tonite makes me really dissappointed that he is not President. Such an incredible shame.

18. The indictments would be fine but the trials even better......... |
|
because then everything and anything goes. I prefer convictions, that would justify the loss somewhat.

19. I think the * re-election was necessary for the coming... |
|
... implosion and destruction of the Republican party. Their arrogance has gone unchecked and now it is biting them in the ass.
The indictments and trial will make it look like the system is rotting from the head down to even the most ignorant observer. Hopefully the electorate will carry that thought with them to the polls in 2006 and we can regain one if not both of the houses. If we get those back, hopefully with a lot of fresh incorruptible Dems, we can turn this country back in the right direction.

20. There is the "they have nobody to blame but themselves" factor |
|
though they still tear around for excuses for why all is not well. They have power over everything else so it must be the branch of government that they don't have power over that is the problem. Or it's always Clinton's fault. After 5 damned years, you'd think they could figure out some personal responsibility.
Sadly, if Kerry would have gotten in, I think the Republicans would have tried to pin any impending failures on him instead of Bush. This way, Bush is just twisting in the wind. This fine mess is his, all his.

21. That is what I have been saying. |
|
If Kerry would have been elected the Repukes would have made his term HELL. Everything and I mean everything would have merited an investigation. None of his ideas would have been furthered. All of *'s mistakes would have been blamed on him. Most importantly the Repukes would have had the scape-goat they desperately need.

So much damage has been done.
However, if any of the high-level bastards ever see the inside of a prison cell, then I really will feel like justice is beginning to be served.
Thank God Fitz is looking at the actual source of the evil, and not for some hapless scapegoat like Pfc. Lyndie England.
