I noticed that they are trying to confuse who got the information from whom? In this case it’s quite simple they got it from the Secretary of State the guy they replaced he brought it with on their trip to Africa. This puts Presnut in the cross hairs there is a finite amount of space on Air Force One.
It would seem that this article lays the question to rest...
http://miawmdwtfw.blogspot.com/2003/07/wmd-intel-memo-delivered-to-secretary.htmlThey are trying to dance around this little reality that already exists.
Also something was bugging me today... So I went over the WH transcript that wasn't on the WH website... When they were Africa.. Found it on a State Dept. Website:)
The behavior here is quite odd don't you think? Oh and while your reading notice Ari admitting they knew the documents are forgeries. Oh yeah in the transcript that was not on the White House own website.
http://miawmdwtfw.blogspot.com/2003/07/white-house-daily-breifing-from.htmlMR. FLEISCHER: Yes, we're back on the record. After the speech, information was learned about the forged documents. With the advantage of hindsight, it's known now what was not known by the White House prior to the speech. This information should not have risen to the level of a presidential speech. There was reporting, although it wasn't very specific, about Iraq's seeking to obtain uranium from Africa. It's a classic issue of how hindsight is 20-20. The process was followed that led to the information going into the State of the Union; information about the yellow cake was only brought to the White House's attention later.
Q: Ambassador Wilson said he made a case months before that there was no basis to the belief --
MR. FLEISCHER: No, he reported that Niger denied the allegation. That's what Ambassador Wilson reported.
Q: Was that report weighed against other --
MR. FLEISCHER: And of course they would deny the allegation. That doesn't make it untrue. It was only later -- you can ask Ambassador Wilson if he reported that the yellow cake documents were forged. He did not. His report did not address whether the documents were forged or not. His report stated that Niger denied the accusation. He spent eight days in Niger and concluded that Niger denied the allegation. Well, typically, nations don't admit to going around nuclear nonproliferation.
Q: But he said there was a basis to believe their denials.
MR. FLEISCHER: That's different from what he reported. The issue here is whether the documents on yellow cake were forged. He didn't address that issue. That's the information that subsequently came to light, not prior to the speech.

The hard ass rethuglicans are screaming Wilson is a liar. Makes him prime candidate for who "Mr. X" is.
This is what I think, because I am free as fuck to do so and to say so.
As for Wilson being "Mr. X" I believe he was the first to be caught in the cover-up gone sour. He was the first to give evidence in his role to deceive people on the definition of the law and how the controlling law would apply. In this case the sighted law by Wilson and also David Corn is invariably much more difficult to get a conviction. This is the fall back law they hope to intimidate their prosecutor into thinking is the best he will ever do, then pardon themselves. Because it doesn't have the sensational punishment the controlling law does it won't warrant as much importance. Duh news control... Sorry wake up sheeple…
The controlling law in this case doesn't really give a shit about motive. Also the NDA the fucktards in the WH signed states these laws and the consequences for breaking them.
The procedures when handing sensitive materials marked (S) for secret are documented for all to see. They are not a secret. They state that you are to assume information that you think is secret to be secret because it is a crime to leak information that should not be leaked. The law does not ask to prove motivation, which is what the IIPA does.
