getting to expand my Ignore list.

There are a lot of people showing their true colors around here lately. A lot of posters I thought I knew, who I thought were decent human beings. Now, I'm thinking not so much. Curiously, for the first time in ages, there are also a few folks I'd written off as the worst, least productive kind of jerky posters, who have actually posted some awesome, intelligent analysis of various issues this week.

So, for those frustrated by the misogyny, bigotry, racism, predjudice and other kinds of nastiness infiltrating these boards tonight, take heart. At least you can figure out what b.s. is beyond even you, and cleanse your screen. I know I'm finding that exercise useful.

2. The ignore list is the same as ...
...not listening to other's opinions. Seems like it would eventually get very lonely.

imho

3. I agree that some people get really gleefull. And then I tripped into
it and fully & willfully gave time to writing out my version of all 12 days of Fitzmas. The rest of the time I am as worried as you when people start to like "other people loosing" for the "sport" instead of the the issues and lives that are at stake. But anger is normal too I think. We all react different. We are usually pretty good at being adult-like. I'm sure it will return to normal - some day soon.

Lots of hope out here. I hope they are right and you get your country back.

Of course there is the odd freeper - signed up on the DU to teach us how to be creeps because - they for some reason want to live in a world filled with adolescents. Those odd posts - make me want to growl & howl too.
