How many votes does a supreme court nominee need to get approved? If it's more than what republicans have right now, then I won't vote for her. But if they have enough that they can force a vote before 2006 election, then yeah I would approve her. The next nominee could be a lot more hardcore.

Republicans have 54 seats currently, Democrats 45 seats and one Independent seat, if I'm not mistaken.
Of course, many Republicans might vote against her.
