After Fitzmas, then what? Questions, questions, questions
An indictment is not a conviction.

Bush changed "If anyone leaked information..." to "If anyone committed a crime..."

How long has it taken Ken Lay to see a courtroom?

Could Rove's trial for the Fitzmas indictment be postponed for three years? Could this White House retain Rove in his current position after he is indicted and until he is convicted?

Can Bush pardon Rove?

Can Bush pardon Rove if Bush is named as an unindicted co-conspirator?

The above questions apply to the other people indicted also.

1. For one thing
we take Bush's words (about firing anyone who committed a crime)and shove them down his throat.

3. An indictment is not a conviction...
It is only an accusation. He said "committed a crime," not "accused of a crime." If he would change "leaked information" to "committed a crime," wouldn't he hold firm to "convicted of a crime?"

At this point, if he is like a lot of his followers, he doesn't think revealing her identity is a crime.

2. After

There is no way someone indicted over something like this stays in any white house no matter how corrupt.

The power of a president to pardon people is pretty much absolute.
