Did anyone else hear Rush say we "blow up buildings"???
He was talking to a caller who was suggesting that the RW had shown the "proper" way to dissent by their opposition to Harriet Miers, and I think I heard him say the left would never learn to do things this way because all we do is "shut down things and blow up buildings and get in the way of progress." Did I get that wrong?

1. Why are you listening to Rush?
Al is on AAR at the same time as Rush here. Honestly I'm not a Franken fan but the Emergency Broadcasting System test signal is better than Rush.

2. Without satellite radio, I can't get AAR
and I'm not allowed to stream at work.

I don't listen to Rush, but there are valid reasons why someone would have no choice to listen to him.

Just saying.

4. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.
That's one reason.

Although it pains me on a personal level to listen to Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and their kind, I do appreciate the updates from DUers with stronger stomachs.

5. Idle curiosity...
I normally listen to AAR, but I like to listen to the other side of the dial when the Republicans have a train wreck...

8. For the same reason we watch ALL the wingnuts.
Rove and O'Neil and their fellow travelers, still wet behind the ears, learned dirty tricks from Colson, Liddy and the plumbers.

Their spawn watch organizational announcements and plan counter-demonstrations and, worse, dirty tricks.

3. Probably a reference to the ATF and Waco.
Of course, in Rush's rotted mind, "progress" means holing up at your compound, fucking babies, and stockpiling firearms. Oh, and eating Oxycontin until you go deaf.

9. Yes I heard it. He did accuse us of blowing up buildings.
And I do listen to him and Hannity but only in times like these. I find it extremely enjoyable to listen to them whine and cry and make up shit out of thin air. It's hilarious to me. My wife enjoys laughing with me. Very funny. But I only listen to them when Bush is really screwing up.
