How likely are the Rethugs to cut/delay Medicare Rx benefit?

My dad is like the people on the Medicare commercial, advising all his friends about the new plan.

I warned him that the Republicans wanted to cut and/or delay the implementation of the Medicare prescription drug benefit.

He said there was "zero percent chance of that happening".

Anyone willing to venture a reasoned guess as to the likelihood of those cuts actually going through (for "Katrina" spending :eyes:) Don't these idiots know the importance of NOT pissing off seniors?

1. Judging from recent talks of cuts for any program that

could possibly help us lowly middle class people, make a little wager with dear old dad. Cutting the Medicare benefit wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
