So I watched Hannity & Colmes last night |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-27-05 01:36 PM by TNOE
before this occasion I've only endured brief moments before I grab the remote - however I didn't get home until late and just wanted to see how the RW was handling the investigation news.
And here is what I learned: There is absoluely no way, no way in the world anyone could watch this show nightly (and like it even) if they had any intelligence whatsoever. It was truly pathetic - in every way. I know I'm speaking to the choir here, but I still haven't gotten over the shock and horror of it all - Hannity is SO blatent - Ann Coulter admitted Hannity asked her to "wildly speculate" on the indictments - which of course she wouldn't saying only 'We know nothing' and then when he asked the Liberal guest - everything she said he responded with "But you don't know!!! You are only speculating!!! It was beyond ridiculous. The Liberal did slap him down good (he gives them NO time to respond and if he thinks he's not going to like what they say - he interrupts and does not let them get their point out) but the Liberal guest smacked him down pretty good when he suggested Fitzgerald was "over-reaching" in his investigation and she said yea, like a blue dress is what started the Clinton investigation.
God he's an ass - and my curiousity has been fixed now. Although I have to admit - I may tune in for brief moments once the indictments come down. I could feel my brain cells oozing out as I was watching. No one with a grain of intelligence could ever watch this program. Ever.

yeah...I saw that last night as well...I keep promising that I will quit watching fox but its like a poodle massacre I can't look away from.
Did you notice how he kept bringing up Clinton? I wish that democrat had said that when Clinton was going through his legal problems, the democrats were just as pissed as the republicans and you didn't have CNN denying every little thing that came out against him.
he even quoted that this current investigation has cost YOU the taxpayer 700,000....how much did Ken Starr blow? Wasn't it millions?
grrrrr...You know hannity is evil when he makes Man Coulter look balanced! (did I actually just type that?)

I'm with the wanting to hurl guy after 10 seconds - but you are right. He had numbers of Clinton's "I don't know's" and "I don't recall" down - and when he said this has cost YOU the taxpayer $700,000 I almost lost it - yea, I believe Ken Starr's investigation to get the President on a blow job cost us $70 million - if not more. I've also heard $80 million. I noticed Coulter was being somewhat quiet - me thinks she knows and is just wondering when to jump ship.

I can't watch when my wife is around cuz she thinks my head will explode!!!

7. Did you hear Hannity complain about leaks and |
|
say they should be investigated and prosecuted. He was blaming them on the Fitzgerald team, which is a vicious lie. All Hannity does is lie.

11. Slander laws very very hard to |
|
prove and hard to sue for - but I guess the only thing that can be done with Fox is what is being done - their news network is known as a "joke" and their media people jokers and clowns. They have no legitimacy or respect (not in the real world).
Oh yea, now that I said that - I think Ann Coulter referred to Fitzgerald as "a clown"..... figure that one out.

"their news network is known as a "joke" and their media people jokers and clowns. They have no legitimacy or respect (not in the real world)."
Unfortunately I know a lot of people who take Fox news as the truth. Maybe us folks on the DU know that it is a joke, but I would have to say that there are millions upon millions of people who take it very seriously!
I am all for freedom of speech, but lying on a 'news channel' is crossing the line!
Whats the FCC even good for?

another appalling episode - there were almost too many to name. I wonder if he is really that delusional - or knows he's full of shit and lies - but is going to rake in the $$$ for as long as the money train is rolling. You can tell - he is just like Limballs and O'Reilly - has no sense of decency whatsoever - I honestly don't know how people like that can sell their souls for a few million bucks.

13. I watch Fox VERY seldom myself, but also tuned in last night-- |
|
It's an alternate reality, and an ugly one. The bullying and interrupting are so blatant, and the innuendo so obvious, it scares me that some people think this is news. Best to keep my blood pressure healthy and stay away!
