Pardon the source, but it seems the "Reagan Republicans", ie., Bush fans, have somewhat accepted that a whole bunch of their heroes could go down tomorrow, sooooooo

Pardon!

1. But wait!
What happened to "Rule of Law! Rule of Law!"

It only applies to Democrats?

5. Pardons should be outlawed
As long as politicians know there is a good probability they will be pardoned for their sins, why not commit them? Do we have ANY safeguards left?

This is not a good day. Between the possibility of pardons for these crooks to the gross profits of oil companies (have you seen what the stock market did today?), about all that's left is a good cry.

6. No. They only approve of criminal behaviour when THEY are the ones...
...doing it. Anyone else - forget it. The LAW or even any semblance of ethics only applies to OTHER people, not them!

7. you know, I always wondered how they rationalized
this:

Iran-Contra was one of the biggest farces of the last century. IMHO, the PINKO LEFTIST 'RATS in Congress that cut off the funding to fight Communism in Central America were the real criminals, while Weinberger, Ollie, and the rest did what they had to do to get the job done.

wow. I guess the Moral "Majority" believes that the ends justify the means, even if based on flimsy BS.

8. This is a beauty - re * pardoning everyone indicted

It would be a brilliant and breath-taking display of power. If he could speak well, he could rally public support and win it hands-down.

IF the Chimp could "speak well??!!" :wtf: Chimpy hasn't ever spoken like anything more than a brain-dead coke head. Chimpy would be run out of town on a rail with a mob carrying pitchforks and torches chasing him if he tried this stunt.
