I'm a little bored with Fitzmas carols. So here, with apologies to musical genius Van Morrison, is something to sing tonight.

Goondance

It's a marvelous night for indictments
with the Grand Jury cranking them out
A fantabulous night for incitement
'neath the colorful October skies

And all the targets are flipping and turning
with their lawyers a'running in tow
They're all trying to finger their bosses
who are hiding and laying so low.

You know the plea bargains
will be flyin' thick and fast
You know that each of those cretins
is scrambling to save ass!

Can we just see some real indictments please, Mr. Fitz?
Can we just see some justice done, oh please, Mr. Fitz?
One more indictment
On a ma-a-a-gic night.

Well I want to see Rove being frog-marched
I can't wait till tomorrow has come
And I know now the time will be just right
To stick in a fork when he's done
And when he's done his ass will be grass, dear
and the prison will be his new home.
There and then we will see justice done, dear
And Big Hugo will make him his own.

And maybe Dick Cheney will be getting his, too
If little I. Lewis tries to turn screws.
Can we just see a few indictments please, Mr. Fitz?
Can we just see some justice done at least, Mr. Fitz.
