Raw Story implies rove is trying to plea bargin |
|
I don't know what will happen, I do feel pretty confident that we will get scooter libby, and that may lead to further probles into cheney, but ONLY if the democrats stand up this time, and fight
I hope rove doesn't weasel out of this, but I won't set my expectations high to protect myself from disappointment
If nothing is announced tomorrow, than a deal has been cut, and that would be a disaster for us

1. even if he is.......... |

.....it would probably be in exchange for an even bigger fish like Bush or Cheney!!
And I know we are all looking for news tomorrow but even if there is no news, it's still a good thing. Because without indictments now, Fitzgerald will still keep working in that new office space in DC!
So even if we don't hear any news now, at least much of the country is aware of it. And I'm sure we will hear more about it later on.

2. The plea bargain most likely will give Rove a charge of... |
|
perjury with a light jail sentance. Still, it gets Rove out of politics.

I think that it would be funny if Rove turned in Bush to save himself. Would he do that though?

They have predicted just about every possible outcome, so whatever happens they will be able to say they were right.
They are nothing but a Drudge wannabe.
And another thing, instead of waiting for prosecutors to put Republicans in jail, Dems should concentrate on winning some freakin elections for a change!

4. Yeah, God forbid Dems seek justice... good heavens! |
|
This is the constant drumbeat of the right wing... it's always the Democrats fault when in reality the problem is the deeply corrupt, immoral monsters in the Republican party. They've stolen our last two elections AND our country. They need to be behind bars or our system of laws means nothing.
