Was a deal made over the Miers nomination and the indictments?
Did the Religious RW wacko nut jobs in the Senate(Santorum, Brownback, Sessions, etc..) make a deal with the idiot over Miers' nomination and the coming indictments? You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours? If KKKRove is indicted and I'm (idiot-in-chief) implicated, you won't impeach IF we withdraw Miers' nomination. Don't you find the timing of her withdrawal suspicious? It could have been just to take the attention away from the indictment story, but it could also be a deal has been struck? Or a deal was made to accept the fact that KKKRove will keep his position? Libby too? They had secret meetings yesterday. Maybe some deals were made?

1. I don't think so

I think the numbers were so low and the base not to mention the senate would have wiped the floor with Ms. Miers. I think it was a way to keep George from looking even worse than he already does.

3. Yes, but the theofascists wanted her the neocons did not
and they told the pres. either you dump her or you lose our brain power after Fitz hits you.

Just saw David Frum on tweety and he pretty much said by dumping her shrub got the "conservative" support back for Fitzmas.

8. Very - maybe that's why Fitz pulled the plug on the indictments?

6. If anything it was Miers who did it at this time so that if Rove and Libby
are indicted, Bush will be able to refocus the press on a new SC nominee. She is very loyal to the Scrub, another good reason why she didn't make it.

7. Nah.
I just don't see how that relationship could be helpful at this time. They aren't going to impeach no matter what anyway - don't get your hopes up.
