America has been over-spun. It's done. The buzzer's rang. The washing of American minds has ended.
The wool has been pulled away from the eyes, the concept of reality is beginning to sink in. Doublespeak has been stripped away, revealing truth to the masses.
The more bullshit they're throwing out now, the less people are buying it. That's why they haven't attacked Fitzgerald. They know how badly that could backfire in their faces. For the first time since the Republicans took power, they are stripped of their weapons. They have realized that they've grown over-confident and the most powerful weapon in their arsenal(the smear campaign) has run out of ammo.
Republicans in Congress are going to begin backpedaling away from the administration and its incompetency and unethical behavior. We CANNOT allow them to deny their near-total complicity in the destructive pattern that seems to be the Republican Party's primary goal.
Hey, America!
THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU PUT REPUBLICANS IN CHARGE!!!
Every goddam time.

Putative leader of the free world and the man can't use a self-balancing scooter.
I agree, though - it's time to put paid to these monsters before they regroup. (I never, ever assume sociopaths don't have a back up plan)

If we put the on the defensive, we can simply spend the next few years reminding the American People that they went along with everything every step of the way until the shit had gotten too deep for the average American to ignore the stink.
When it became politically expedient.
Goodbye majorities in the House and Senate. Goodbye Presidency.
And the final stroke? If it's necessary? The universal repeal of every bad law or appointment made during this Administration. Fruit of a Poisoned Tree. It is not fitting that a criminal gets to leave behind seeds of corruption when he's evicted from his position.
If we had strong Dems, willing to show a picture of what the future COULD be rather than just attack, you could almost guarantee this result.
But I'll just take totally ineffectiveness for the Republicans for the next couple years if I have to.
