1. Depends on your faith but as a Christian I can tell you that God, as
I understand Him, hates corruption, injustice, and screwing over of the little people. So I think He may be on board with the indictments if it means cleaning the situation up. ;)

7. Why be torn? Do you not pray for righteousness to rule? I think this
clearly falls under that heading. These people lied us into a war and killed tens of thousands. I think that might tick God off more than just a little bit.

5. No, but if it is just karma, we don't have to pray!
But I guess it is all right to say, "Oh, Lord, bring them into the light!"

How they get there, he he he, is one thing...

26. Nope
Counters all the evil " Lord get me out of this one" those fuckers are praying up right now.
--remember they have given the distinct impression that they have the market on righteousness. Misled countless faithful into poorly thought out opinions and votes. Given the green light to spritual predators like Pat Robertson. And lied, lied lied.
Pray away.

29. Praying for Rove to be gang-raped daily in prison
Now that would be blasphemous.

Praying for justice is okay with my God.

31. My Virgin of Guadalupe candle is lit tonight
I'm not Catholic, but I hope I know a goddess when I see one. One of the popes decided she's the "Mother of the Americas" (P. John? P. John-Paul II?) and do we ever need her now. (You can find her candles in the grocery store in the Hispanic foods aisle).

Before Bush I used to believe that praying about politics was way too petty to trouble God/dess with, rather like praying for your football team to win.

Bush has turned me into a believer, so to speak. It's not petty to pray for our leaders to be stricken with wisdom and compassion, and it's not petty to pray for strength and wisdom to free ourselves from those who would oppress us.

I believe the very soul of our nation is in peril. I really do.

Hekate
