21. And Annie's a very Democratic musical/movie!
Doesn't FDR have a cameo in that one? I think Annie sings Tomorrow for him, and he loves it! It encapsulates the spirit of the New Deal, and if it had existed at the time, it might have taken over from "Happy Days Are Here Again" (which isn't too shabby either!)

16. The actual words (no clever rhyming on my part) and
They pretty much capture exactly how I'm feeling (when I'm not being completely afraid that there won't be any indictments at all!)

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none

When I'm stuck with a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And grin,
And say,
Oh

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may

Tomorrow
Tomorrow
I love ya
Tomorrow

18. Indictments will come tomorrow
Indictments will come, tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow there will be some
Jus’ thinkin’ about, tomorrow
Clears away the scumbags and the horror
’til there’s none

When I’m stuck with Rove and that limpy libby
I just stick out my chin and grin and say, oh Fitzy

Indictments will come out, tomorrow
So you gotta hang on ’til tomorrow
Come what may...

Chorus:
Tomorrow, tomorrow
I love ya, tomorrow
You’re always a day away

(instrumental)

Indictments will come out, tomorrow
So you gotta hang on ’til tomorrow
Come what may...
(repeat chorus)

Tomorrow, tomorrow
I love ya, tomorrow
You’re always a day a--way!

20. Nice "short-order" song-writing there!!!
:applause:
But I don't know why you don't say,
"When I'm stuck with Karl Rove, and that limp Libby" or even
"When I'm stuck with La Rove, and that limp Libby" --
-- isn't that better meter?

23. How about this one?
From Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

There's always tomorrow,
For dreams to come true,
Believe in your dreams
Come what may.

There's always tomorrow,
With so much to do,
And so little time in a day.

We all pretend
The rainbow has an end
And you'll be there my friend someday.

There's always tomorrow,
For dreams to come true,
Tomorrow is not far away.

We all pretend,
The rainbow has an end,
And you'll be there my friend someday.

There's always tomorrow,
For dreams to come true,
Tomorrow is not far away.
