Did Rove cop a "secret" deal? Did he squeal like the pig he is?
Edited on Thu Oct-27-05 10:00 PM by mzmolly
 Fitz met with Rove's attorney recently, and Rove was trying desperately to remain out of jail according to reports.

My guess is the reason Rove is still "under investigation" is because Fitzgerald want's to continue to pump him for info, and call him to testify as needed? Fitz will maintain the "potential" to charge him if he fails to cooperate er uhm, sing.

He's the type to spill the beans to save his arse. That's good for us.

8. Eight secret pages were shown to the judges...
....and I don't need eight seconds to know that Libby is a lying SOB. There's gotta be more coming.

17. Actually
(and i dont mean to nitpick but it's kinda cool):

The 8 redacted pages were what the judge wrote in his ruling.

Those pages were referring to "voluminous classified filings" filed by Pat Fitzgerald.. presumably much much more than 8 pages!

from the ruling:

That said, without benefit of the adversarial process, we must take care to ensure that the special counsel has met his burden of demonstrating that the information is both critical and unobtainable from any other source. Having carefully scrutinized his voluminous classified filings, I believe that he has.

25. Looks that way. Fitzgerald and Rove's lawyer, Luskin, go back
they worked together at one time in the prosecutor's office and I think they have deep mutual repsect for one another. Maybe Luskin asked Fitz to hold off for now until

This on Oberman last night was very enlightening:
