BELIEVE *NO* MEDIA REPORTS! WAIT FOR FITZGERALD!

If we have learned nothing else over the past months, it's that Patrick Fitzgerald runs the absolute tightest, leak-free ship we've ever seen.
Media reports during the last weeks have been all over the map. Sources are usually defendant lawyers, or others with a clear agenda. In fact, I'd bet that Fitz is counting on this organic, self-perpetuating disinformation effect as a function of his leak-free operation. It keeps the bad guys tense, and may force one of them to slip up.

Unfortunately, it keeps us just as tense.

So, everyone, repeat after me.

The New York Times knows NOTHING.
The Washington Post knows NOTHING.
The Associated Press knows NOTHING.
The Los Angeles Times knows NOTHING.
The Wall Street Journal knows NOTHING.
Reuters knows NOTHING.
(And, much as it pains me to say):
RAW STORY knows NOTHING.

Fitzgerald is the sole keeper of the cup of knowledge on this issue, and until he speaks, no other voice matters.

1. Everyone is agreed: Fitzgerald and his team are leak proof...

These other bits we've been getting is mostly supposition and I think it's turning into a war of sorts between Cheney/Libby and Bush/Rove.

2. Exactly! The only ones 'leaking' are the lawyers of the potential

targets so their leaks aren't worth the 'paper' they are written on, imo. When indictments are announced and posted on the official Fitzgerald DOJ site then we will have something of substance to peruse, all else is propaganda.

That's probably true. And that's also why we should believe nothing we hear or read until Fitzgerald makes his announcements.
