What is wrong with Bob Woodward? |
|
Above everyone else - media related - he should understand the depths of the potential criminality of the * administration.
He was an embarrassment on Larry King last night. Claimed he did not understand how the outting of Plame had anything to do with the Iraq war! At least David Gergen made an attempt to enlighten him.
Oh, Bob, how far you have fallen!
From "All The President's Men" to major * suck-up!

1. I'm starting to think he's lost his mind |
|
But Larry King said Woodward was doing a book on Bush's second term and I figure he doesn't get all that access by going against Bush and his minions.

3. Poor Bob, just an old dog who is really a tired old story that is |
|
getting shoved further down the memories of our miinds. Now Fitz is the top dog with the top story and Bobby's only reaction is to trivilize it. Its not important, nothing to it, not even close to a criminal act like he discovered. Screw him, he's lost it evidently.

5. Just because his reporting took down a Republican President |
|
doesn't mean he was a Democrat, or a liberal.
He was an ambitious journalist with relatively little to lose and potentially a lot to gain and so he went for it and struck gold with Watergate.
By starting at the top like that he created a career monster that could only be duplicated by great luck (not forthcoming) or great access. And that latter came at a cost.
