Democrats need to continue the job that Fitzgerald has started
Successful or not, the Democrats need to press the Republicans to investigate whether or not the Congress was lied to - to take this country to war. This needs to be an issue.

If it turns into a campaign issue next year, then so be it. It should be. This needs to be fully investigated. And the truth needs to be told to the American people. They need to know that their troops have not died in vain. That is the big picture and one that Mr. Fitzgerald may not be able to paint alone.

1. Kerry's speech on Iraq already did that
Of course I wish he'd done that long ago, but at least we may be on the right track now.

3. Yep...
Now we need to get the rest of the Party, and hopefully a few Repubs, on board to get to the bottom of whether or not they were lied to. Surely it matters to the Repubs whether or not they were lited to?

If they can't get the Repubs on board, then we can only hope the Democrats can take back one or the other, the House or Senate, in the next election. But, it is up to the Democrats to decide whether or not it is important.

2. The key is getting MSM to cover speeches
and to listen to Democrats. I mean, we all know what Kerry said in his speech (thanks to Will Pitt), but I heard it wasn't even carried on CSPAN. So again our key problem is--how do we get the message out?

4. Because the House ran long
Conyers, Jackson-Lee and others were trying to get the resolution passed to let Rosa Parks lie in the Capitol

5. Like the terrier on a pants leg - or a fly on dung- we must stay on it
I could not make myself read Kerry's speech - I am still enraged at that he reliably shows up after the train has left the station, if at all.
I can't trust him again.
Now Al Gore - there is my man! Let's draft him! He'll keep at it, he has fire in his belly.
