If Rove isn't indicted TODAY...
when will we see the first post here that says something to the effect of: "I knew it! Fitzgerald is just a Republican tool! They always win! Nothing will happen! WAAAAHHH!!!" ?

1. Before you can say "Fitzmas."
Mass hysteria sucks.

2. Already seeing them.
I think those people either need to get back on their meds or go back to Free Republic.

I said all along that this Fitzmas hysteria would end up making alot of people feel let down if the results were less than what they anticipated.

And they said to me, Bah Humbug!

4. Sure did, Maddy
There's gonna be some unhappy folks.

I've been hearing there will be some surprises that no one will expect. Some good and some bad.

8. And that's ok with me.
If I had a choice between two scenarios:

1) Fitz gives us Libby and Rove today;

or

2) Fitz gives us Libby today and will extend investigation to possibly produce Rove and even Cheney;

I'll take option number 2, thank you very much.

:D

15. Totally agree.
It leaves KKKarl in a continued state of limbo and the Bush Whorehouse in a continued state of dis-array.

17. Yep.. No.2 is the GREATEST we could have hoped for
at this point. Further investigation is FITZMAS for me. It has a much greater chance of it all coming out.

We will find out the true status though, today, from Fitz himself.

I'm looking forward. This is just what I wanted.

Yeah.. I did want EVERYTHING to come out and be settled by today, but realistically, that wouldn't be possible and at the same time be thorough. An extension, gives America the best chance of REALLY learning the truth.

3. If Rove isn't indicted today
it means he has turned on the neocons and that is a good thing. Let them all eat each other.

9. That's what ABC News GMA is reporting!
His attorney has been talking w/ Fitzgerald - they said don't expect Rove to be indicted today, BUT he could be later. Keeping fingers, and everything else crossed!

6. This is just the beginning. Patience.

Any of us old enough to remember Watergate recall how it happened drip by drip with finally that lovely picture of Nixon getting on the plane. Patience.

13. Cable TV has Rove in the clear.
Freeperville is buzzing with the news that Libby won't be indicted for a crime, only perjury or obstruction.

Clinton wasn't impeached for a crime either, they're all so sorry about the misunderstanding.

18. If Rove isn't indicted at all....
Fitzgerald is obviously doing a very thorough job investigating this. If Rove doesn't get indicted then I will come to the conclusion that Rove didn't have anything to do with outing Plame. It's very possible that this was all started from the office of the VP.

Rove is a dick and yes, it would be fun to see him go to jail, but if he didn't do it then he didn't do it. The last thing I want to do is go on wild and ridiculous freeper goose chase like whitewater just to bring one person down politically.

At the end of the day, I want justice served.

19. I'm guessingf soon
You know, I'm watching all this unfold up here in Canada on all the major TV programmes here and trying to reconsile it all one thing did strike me; why is it that so many want to throw due process down the drain with thugs like Rove and Libby but are screaming for due process for the thugs in Gitmo? Seems hypocritical to me and as a liberal we should all avoid being like the rethugs.

20. I agree 100%
You just asked the question we should all be asking ourselves. In fact, I think your post would be better served as its own thread.
