Have been wondering - How long has this grand jury been empaneled? They are from Washington, right? Have they been sequestered? Can the jurors talk about the proceedings after they are done like a reagular jury?
Been wondering for awhile if we will hear from the jurors later.

1. A bunch of D.C. black granmamas... |
|
...mostly. Not a good scene for BushCo. But heck, it's some small measure of justice that D.C. crimes get ruled on by "the ghetto" at least.

4. Here's what I know, and a question for the legal eagles among us: |
|
The grand jury has been empaneled for about 22 months, they've already had one extension, they are residents of DC. They are not sequestered. They will NOT be able to discuss publicly the proceedings, I'm not sure if this is normal for every grand jury; but this one I'm sure will not - they've very likely learned a great deal of information that is classified. I'm sure I've read somewhere that they will be barred from discussing the case, I just don't remember where.
My question: There's been a lot of discussion here and on the tube about the extension of this grand jury, or empanelment of a new grand jury. I know this one has already had one extension; I've seen it discussed that they may not be able to be extended, but I've not seen anything that was definite. Can this grand jury be extended more than once?
I ask because I think it would be very not good if a new grand jury had to be empaneled; there is a lot of complex back-story a new GJ would not have. That history is going to be vitally important in understanding the investigation going forward.
Whichever it turns out to be, I'm putting my trust in Fitz; so far he appears to be just the man we needed.

6. I read yesterday that a GJ can be extended 3 times. |
|
The prosecutor can also request an extention for any length of time from 1 day to 6 months. Some rumore are saying that Fitz could just extend this GJ for a few days to a week.

7. Are they getting paid for two years of work? |
|
That's a hell of a long time for civic duties. I hope they get paid as much as Scooter and turd blossom, annually, they are far more worthy.
