They showed Air Force One taking off for Virginia. I think it's just bizarre for him to give such a speech today.

38. Republican candidate for Gov will not be joining him there. |
|
Jerry Kilgore will not take the opportunity to stand beside the President today in Norfolk. The election is less than two weeks away. I wonder why?
From DC to Norfolk round trip could be 7 - 8 hours. Much faster to fly.

10. It's been bizarroworld for five years now! |
|
Nothing that Bush and Cheney have done for the last five years has been anything but cheesy, strange, and underhanded.
Bush has always appeared as either extremely immature and simplistic, or completely scripted before a fixed audience.
Why would that change now?
It's clear that he's completely out of touch with real people and the real world... because until now he has not had to be in touch... he had the support of most of the nation because of his very effective propaganda machine and the stupidity and fear of the masses. Now all he has is his truly wingnut, xtian, rightwing base... and they make a lot of noise....

19. I'm gonna say that the Chicago airport will have a terra scare. |
|
They've already managed to have east and west coast terra scares this month. The midwest is overdue.
It's sort of curious how GA, home of the USA's busiest airport, never has a terra scare. Maybe it's because we have a Republican Governor and two Republican Senators.
BTW, Air Force One took off and landed in about 10 minutes. What a waste of fuel. He should have gone by car or bike to save gas.

Wasn't he just telling people to conserve on gas?
He is SUCH an asshole. Blatant waste of fuel. Hell, I don't even make any trips anymore that don't involve multiple purposes for starting up the damn engine in my car.

Well, maybe it comforts him, falling back on his number-one crowd pleaser (it always goes over well at military bases and GOP members-only gatherings).
I can picture him in his 90's in a wheelchair wheezing "The terraists hate freedom! Stay the course! We're winning!"

I bet that the TV news shows will barely cover the speech. I wonder who the unfortunate audience is this time? It would just be awful to be trapped at a * speech. :(
No way would Cheney let * stay in DC on Fitzmas Day. He had to hustle him out of town. Air Force One is about to take off as I post this.
I wonder if there will be a Scotty press conference today?
