machine. He's still under investigation and we know his lawyer is trying to avert charges. The WH plan was to go on the attack but now if they have to be careful to not anger the prosecuter.
Also, since Fitz is continuiing the investigation then he's probably considering larger issues. I wanted this all to be over but I think this is a good thing. The longer this plays out the more press this will get.
