Ok, remember the purpose of indictments are trials......

So even if there is only one indictment (Libby) then we are still going to have to see a trial. Trials are long and arduous. Lots of embarrassing details spilling out. Not a good thing to be scrutinized in front of the world like that. And also, who do you think would get called as witnesses? You then have to see Rove and some other big fish sweat through subpoenas and even more investigation etc.

So either way, this is far from a done deal. Whether more indictments eventually come (I think they will) or not. Fitzmas is the gift that just keeps on giving all year, probably a few years, round. :)

I almost feel bad for enjoying this so much. It's bad for our country to have scandals and so on, but, you know, these guys deserve it for all the damage they've done. Plus, it may be the only thing stopping them from doing more.

Still, the thought of this administration going down in flames makes me happy. I just can't help it. I'm thinking about all those little rats scurrying around the WH right now and having a blast. :)

it starts pouring out when people start wanting to save their own necks. Talking tough before an indictment is a bit different than being tough when your ass is on the line. People start not wanting to protect some asshole who got them into a mess once reality kicks in.
