The Reason Rove won't be indicted today...
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 09:34 AM by WI_DEM
the reason is that Fitz wants to wait until next week when Bush tries to change the subject and nominate a new Justice. Right after Bush introduces his new SC nominee, Fitz will announce that Rove is being indicted. That will take the wind out of the chimps sail.

Hey, it's my fantasy! and it could happen. :)

1. You should write Pron. I don't believe that Fitz is political.

my thoughts exactly--he's flipped and implicated others--the implication
must now be verified and compared with previous statements and the criminal law.

4. If he's not indicted, it's because he turned on the others.
Do you think he's innocent?

15. No one in the Bush inner circle is innocent. No one. They've got blood on
their hands, their forearms, their elbows, their armpits. They have 9/11 on their consciences (along with an immoral war, a wrecked environment and a ruined economy), two stolen elections to go to hell for, countless attempts to ruin reputations of war heroes and various Democrats -- and a partridge in a pear tree.

Merry Fitzmas!

16. No, Rove was BORN guilty
If he's not indicted today, it's because he's negotiating a deal to try to save part of his fat ass, or because Fitz is trying to corner him even more tightly.

11. Free beer tomorrow.
That's how the sign at the bar reads. And it'll read that way tomorrow and the next day, too.

I like your fantasy.

24. It's the same sign every day, so it's always tomorrow
that the beer's free.

BTW, the bar is in Dayton, Ohio.

6. Rove still being under investigation is GREAT.
First, we nail Libby, which looks bad for Cheney. Then they still have the sword hanging over, as Rove is still not in the clear. I think Rove being indicted today would have been better for the WH than what's actually going to happen.

13. I'm starting to think that way. The continuing investigation can ONLY
lead to this administrations lies that got us into War with Iraq. Thousands of lives lost for a huge mistake...it's not going to look good. Why do you think B* is as we speak, giving a speech on the War on Terra?

25. Any time he feels like he needs to give a speech, he's in trouble.
And the speeches never help. It's always "He will lay out specifics," then it's the same old "we're fighting them over there..." bullshit.

It's kinda fun, really.

8. No way. He's getting Karl to squeel like a little piggie.
Look at that turd. He's a bully who can't get laid, and he lashes out at people and exacts revenge on anyone who won't do what he wants. And he's never called on it. He always gets away with it because he's got friends in high places. But it ain't working now. Now he actually might have to answer for all the bullying he's done, and he realizes he might soon be bent over a cement bed taking a 10" schlong up his bunger.

Now, normally that's something he's pay Jeff Gannon for...but Gannon's canon probably ain't no ten incher. Besides...in prison he might have to take it from one of those BLACKS!

Naw...the crybaby is givin' it up like schoolgirl at Gitmo, offering anything he can to save his ass.

17. How I hope you're right! He has ruined so many lives with his evil lies,
it's about time he paid for some of them! I actually cried when I read of some of the known evil political maneuvers that Rove has played on his 'enemies.' He is a pathetic excuse for a human being, and I doubt I will ever change my mind on that one. I hope HE needs hand-holding and psychoanalysis after this. I hope the extra waiting causes him tremendous suffering. A slight payback for what he's done to others. He pretends to be Christian...let the Golden Rule apply to
him for once.

12. I think you just start small to let them know you're not F'ing around.
Going after Libby first puts Rove and Cheney on notice. It also puts Libby's balls in a vice, hopefully pushing Libby to rat out the higher ups. This is the classic manuever used to go after organized crime.

19. Reminds me of baseball
When Bob Gibson or Don Drysdale threw the second pitch under someone's chin, it was just to let the batter know that he really ment the first one.

Fitz doesn't play politics like that. He doesn't care who is nominated for the court, or when.

He may just as well be covered with open oozing highly contagious sores. Everyone knows he sang to protect his worthless ass, and in the end he'll go down as well.

23. Federal prosecutors don't time indictment announcements
to coincide with or disrupt anything external to the investigation.
