If the jury term has not expired today, would we have had |
an indictment today, or would the deliberation continued for another year, or so?

1. I think it is a pretty good guess that there will be indictments today. |
There is a dispute about whether this is a regular Grand Jury or a Special Grand Jury. Grand Jury can continue for up to 24 months, a Special Grand Jury for up to 36 months. Hopefully someone can pin that down for sure today. Either way though, there would still be about 3 months if this in a regular Grand Jury.

2. Probably Fitzgerald has had to scramble fast to wrap up indictment today |
My guess is that he feels under pressure to produce some results today since it is the deadline whereas if this where not the deadline day he would have been able to continue without making an announcement yet. Hopefully the Judge will allow him to empanel a new GJ and continue the investigation since the White House and reporters caused such lengthy delays.
