Bush "calm, showing no signs of strain Friday, smiling and joking"
Bush carries on with presidential business
No comment on CIA leak, but mood at White House appears calm

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9850654/

WASHINGTON - After weeks of anxiety about possible indictments in the CIA leak investigation, President Bush showed no signs of strain Friday, smiling and joking with aides as he left to make a speech on terrorism in Norfolk, Va.

“Thanks for the chance to get out of Washington,” Bush told a friendly audience in Norfolk.

Bush strode across the South Lawn to a waiting helicopter at 8:44 a.m. White House officials took comfort in news that the president’s top political adviser, Karl Rove, would not be indicted Friday even though he was expected to remain under investigation.

The White House was bracing for an indictment against another top aide, I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, chief of staff for Vice President Dick Cheney. Before he left, Bush chatted in the Oval Office with Cheney and Rove. White House counselor Dan Bartlett and chief of staff Andy Card also were in the room. The mood seemed relaxed.

3. The guy is usually a loose cannon according to people in the WH
often grouchy, touchy, and arrogant, so if he was smiling, it was only for show--another Rove touch.

4. "Good morning sir. Here is the bag of frogs you requested this morning...
"Let us know when you're done smashing them and the White House butler will clean them up."

Killing things soothes Georgie.

5. Yeah right. The "background noise" is about to...
make his head explode, revealing finally to the entire world that there is actually nothing inside.
