Wolf: Did the CIA authorize Wilson to write that op-ed?
Some conservative is outraged Wilson was allowed to write it. He somehow worked it to say that people will be pissed because the CIA was doing covert work in the US.

Anyone hear this and can explain better?

this occasion, but all occasions when he (DiGenova) appears on TV. I know SOMEWHERE in America there are legal experts who can dispassionately assess what's going on without devoting all their remarks to partisan polemics--no matter which party they personally support.

and was therefore available to discuss his trip. He does not work for the CIA and is not under their authority. He had all the right in the world to write that op-ed piece, especially since our President lied to us during his state of the union speech....

11. This guy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about
He's also blaming the CIA for asking Wilson to go to Niger during war when his wife was a covert operative...he says it was a bad decision by the CIA.

Didn't Wilson go before the war started? Either way, this guy seems to forget or does not know that Wilson was once the Director of Africa for the NSC and had personally dealt with the Nigerian government in the past. Isn't this why the CIA thought he was a good person to send over there?

Anyway, he's trying to place the blame of outing Plame on Wilson, Plame and the CIA. :eyes:
