Too risky for the BFEE otherwise. Libby is a "good boy." That's my take on it, anyway. A trial would consume America. BFEE can't risk that.

.. well, for us anyway. The leak is there and Libby is not charged for that. That tells me that Fitzgerald is not simply going to walk away from the actual leak, but pursue that now with Libby out of the way. No way Fitzgerald could walk away from a crime.
