I can't remember if the networks all broke in when Hillary was charged with false statements.

Now is a good time for Cheney to resign due to his health and loss of counsel. That way, the next President of the United States can be put into position.

We have a great administration in the Whitehouse right now. If the democrats had gone after Clinton's purgery, obstruction of justice, and lying to the American people with the same fervor, it would have taken half the time at half the price! Plus, Libby is just council. Imagine if he were the President!!
The Bush administration handled this very well. We should be proud.

Where are the charges related to leaking Valerie Plame's identity? The implication of the charges seem to be that if there wasn't an investigation there wouldn't have been any crime at all.

23. but "Fitzgerald misrepresented the essence of Russert's testimony"! HAHA
To: FreedomCalls

If that's true, then I expect Libby's lawyers to get a court to throw out the indictments on the ground Fitzgerald misrepresented the essence of Russert's testimony to the GJ. So then it comes down to two different recollections of events. That's not a crime much less than perjury. It seems to me the prosecutor's case looks week. There's not even an underlying crime here.

we dont vote republican. These people are sickly stupid. You'd think may be one would get it. They lied us into an expensive, pointless war that hurt the economy, cost thousands of lives and increased terrorism. This is about a direct lie about our national security. To equate this to sexual fun and games of Clinton is not just sad, it shows these people don't care about our national security. They have no idea what the term means. Yet they think WE are weak on national security. These people deserve to be screwed by their leaders... and funny enough they have been for 5 years now. That's the funniest part of the whole thing.

I don't know about other progressives, but I'm pretty damn happy right now. Libby is a fine start. :-) In fact, I think I'm probably quite a bit happier than your average Bushie-cult-member. It wasn't MY vice-president who's staff member got indicted today!
