:bounce:

He's saying that there was a whole network of people connected to Plame and we don't know what happened to them as a result of her identity being revealed!

1. I don't even care if most is censored.
I just want numbers and damages.

2. Irrelevant

I suspect it is small. This just is likely to feed the right wing's argument here. Let's not get sidetracked.

The central issue here is the criminal intent of the White House. They didn't conduct a damage assessment prior to outing her. They wanted to damage her and used their power to crush dissent. Consequences be damned. Now they want to go back and use the possibility that the consequences might not be so bad after all to excuse their behavior. Nuh, uh.

3. People possibly being killed as a result of the leak is irrelevant??
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 12:56 PM by BattyDem
Sorry, but I disagree with that. :-)

Not to mention the fact that the years of work on nuclear proliferation and WMDs, including establishing Brewster Jennings as a "real" company, has been undermined. Besides, how many foreigners will be willing to cooperate with the CIA now that the possibilty exists that the US government will intentionally blow their cover? This is a National Security issue.
