Now asking about the names of people in the indictment. He said he's not sure he can provide more than the titles listed in the indictment.

No one wanted to have a dispute with the NY Times. Would have wished that the witnesses had testified a year ago. Didn't bluff people-looked to see that they really needed the reporter's testimony. Made sure detailed classified file given to judge so he could make sure we had done things right in seeking testimony from reporters.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think it is over. Sure, he'll keep a GJ on hand, and Rove under a spotlight. But he isn't actively going after him, and no new evidence is likely to come out implicating Rove, so I think he doesn't have the goods on Rove, so he had to let him go.
