Patrick Fitzgerald is the ANTI-George Bush. |
|
He is the real deal. I trust him. He has re-affirmed my belief in the notion that good always wins, and truth will always float to the top.
So many kool-aid drinkers see bush as plain spoken and every mans man. Fitzgerald is actually that. Bush is the caricature.
Thank you to that higher power I talk to. Today is a great day.
I'm an American and Fitzgerald epitomizes my idea of justice and how our system of law should work.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if he starts a new era of real justice and real consequences?
Fitzmas will be a big day for the rest of my life and I hope it will continue to benefit my children and their children......
Thank you DU. Without you, the last several years would have been terrible. But because of the wonderful posters on here, especially H20 Man, understandinglife, oldleftylawyer, and several others, I never felt out of the loop and had hope for the future.
And I'm confident that this isn't the end today of cleaning house. It's only the beginning.

2. I think you're reading too much into things |

I believe he is what he says, a nonpartisan prosecutor. As for the skies now being clear, and the sun coming out on a new world, I think thats slightly presumptuous, we'll see how the trial goes, what happens next, and how the public reacts to it....
Edit: read the first part of you're statement wrong, thought you said he is anti-bush, not he is the.

3. Yes, but the "public" is yearning for someone like this... |
|
Competent, honest, diligent, trustworthy and committed to his country.
Refreshing, huh?

5. I admit to being an optimist. |
|
In the end, things tend to turn out the way they were supposed to.
I choose to believe most days that there are more Fitzgeralds in the world than Bush's. But today I'm glad there is one Fitzgerald for sure. It makes me want to go rent "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington". :D

And yes Fitzgerald helps with the belief in the law. Guys and girls like him. God bless his soul. And I agree too on DU. I love it here. It helps keep me sane. DU and progressive talk.

6. He is America's conscience! |
|
And I'm convinced now that he will bring down the Bush regime. You Americans can be glad to have such a great guy! What a moment in history!
