Correct me if I'm wrong, but by issuing this indictment today...
.. Fitz can 'effectively' keep the GJ open 'at will' for the reasons of 'tying up loose ends'.. those loose ends being more indictments and charges at a later time.

and by doing this, it 'holds' the GJ without the need to a judge or anyone else to approve it, since they still have 'pending business'.

So effectively, Scooter is a 'door stop'??

Fitzgerald stated that this particular gj has fulfilled its obligations. He wants to have another gj available to tie up the loose ends.

another grand jury as he sees fit or as information warrants as there is always one sitting. If he gets more information as time goes by he can proceed accordingly.

The door isn't shut on future charges.

9. Yep, I think Scooter is the "dupe" in all of this...
We are hopefully going to see more action. It was a wise thing he did when I think about it from a historical perspective. He protected himself from attack and kept open the possibility for future indictments without the same circus atmosphere...
