WHY did nobody ask about CHENEY???
The press should have asked the big question sitting there in black and white in the indictment: Cheney gets the information about Plame and passes it along to Libby.

ISN'T THAT A CRIME? Fitz said plainly that Plame's name was classified information. So wouldn't it be a crime for Cheney to pass that down to Libby?

1. He was asked about Cheney.
And he refused to comment, which was exactly the right response.

The investigation is ongoing, so he's not going to comment.

4. Because Fitz clearly said at the outset that he wouldn't answer those Ques
He said he could not talk about people other than Libby, or about crimes other than those charged today. He was *very* clear about that.

5. Libby had clearance, so passing to him isn't enough

If Cheney passed it to Libby with the knowledge and intent of a scheme to have it disclosed publicly --- that would be the way to hook in Cheney.

6. According to the indictments
as far as I can tell, Libby had security clearance and I assume Cheney had security clearance. Therefore, they can discuss classified information. Giving that information to a person that does not have clearance is illegal.

This is how I read the indictments. If I am wrong, someone verify.
