Well, MY glass is half FULL.
How's yours?

Now that the dust has settled a bit, I'm very pleased with the day's events.

Just contrasting the subjects of the investigations, methods, and bearing of Pat Fitzgerald with Kenneth Starr warmed the cockles of my heart. What a refreshing difference. I have new hope for the human condition.

The right wing spinning by the right wing pundits pissed me off, but that's a given on almost any day. It's pretty much a knee-jerk reaction for me now, with no lasting effect.

Hatch and DiGenova and the other slug on opposite Begala can kiss my Alabama ass, but they already knew that.

All in all, not a bad day.
Cheers.

Icing on the cake: Jane Harmon coming up on CNN.
Get 'em, Jane!

2. I'm much happier today!
I would have loved to have seen Rove indicted as well but there's always tomorrow and if there is no tomorrow it won't matter anyway!

4. Yes, I drank about half the champagne in my glass.
But, since I'm an optimist, I'll refill it before it get's half-empty.

Half-FULL or more.

8. My glass is OVERFLOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Considering how much we have been through this is the beginning of the end. This reminds me of the truly lame Rocky movie where he fights Ivan Drago. "See, he's bleeding, he's not a machine he's just a man, now go in there and get him!" This is what we needed to get people to stop being afraid or retaliation, and stand up for what is right.

but I'm glad they're finally getting caught and being held accountable for their corruption and down right stupidity.

14. Not even half full
It now seems for certain that Bush*t will indeed last a full two terms.

Fitzgerald will now be looking into intent.

But as for the all the other stuff about election fraud, wmds and the crimes of the WH coming out, I think we can say that is over.

We should just work on, trying to make sure every election is fair.

Its just a worry, when I think what The world is going to be like with Bush in the WH for another three years.

16. Oh, well, geez, if *that's* what you expected out of this, then no wonder
you're disappointed.

It's a slow (well, getting faster) burn; no one knows where it's going to end. But I can't imagine a scenario in which all that would've happened out of *today;* the most I hoped for was maybe a few more indictments (including Rove, dammit, but oh well).

fwiw, I don't think Bush will be impeached, and I'm not even hoping for that. I want this administration so thoroughly discredited by the end of the next three years that anyone remotely connected with them or their "ideas" is going to be approximately as popular as herpes, and stay that way. Looks like they're well on their way.

15. Half a glass and expecting more
This is a start. There should be more and, even if there isn't any more, it seems to herald a change in attitude toward this administration by people and the media (look at the coverage today).

Bush probably will last through his full term, but hopefully be too politically crippled to do much more damage.
