The Spin Begins... Hannity's Opening Line:
"You would think this prosecutor was talking about the double homicide of two children..."

No Shawn, it's worse than that... It's about the homicide of 2000 Americans and God knows how many Iraqis...

all for War Profiteering.

As you will soon find out, but you go ahead and keep minimizing it. I'm sure that will do wonders for your career.

1. We are talking about the homicide of children, many of them.
Ask Iraqi and American mothers.

2. Isn't that a quadruple homicide if you kill two kids twice each?

5. Hannity should be _____ for saying something so fucking crass.
I'd personally like to have a "private" discussion with that cretin. Be a waste of perfectly good energy though.

19. True.
These sons-of-bitches are destroying our country. The patriotic thing to do is permanently remove those who would take our freedom away. It is, in fact, our duty as Americans to deliver the country from those who would reign tyranny down upon the masses - as Faux "News" would like to see. Faux is the enemy.

I wish someone would smack him on TV, but he'd probably like it and beg for more.

7. Amazing, when it was Clinton, that to hear the Republicans talk
you'd have thought THEY were talking about a double homicide of two children.

Lying is only important if it's not your side doing it.

8. Fugg the spin
Democratic talking points re these indictments should be simple. Lying to the Grand Jury is an offence punishable by law. Since these fugging Freepers love the 10 commandments so much they should understand law.

10. I was driving and trying to get a word on the noon release of documents
And both local news channels had Rush when they announced the charges. He was flipping out. What really got him was a caller that called him out on being so angry about Clinton but giving this administration a pass.Dont know how he got on.

He kept going back to that call and trying to shoot the guy down he was so flustered at being challenged by someone who wasnt a setup caller from the left who couldnt articulate their point of view.It was great!

'Scooter' Libby to Avoid Perjury Charge

Lewis "Scooter" Libby will likely avoid perjury charges in the Leakgate case, and will instead be charged with making a false statement to investigators - a crime that mirrors Independent Counsel Robert Ray's findings against Hillary Clinton five years ago.

"False statement charges are significantly different from perjury," "They don't include the need to prove intent."

In his October 2000 final report on the Travelgate scandal, Independent Counsel Ray said of Mrs. Clinton:

"The overwhelming evidence establishes that she played a role in the decision to fire the employees and provided input into that decision. Thus, her statement to the contrary under oath was factually false."

Despite Mr. Ray's conclusion, however, that Mrs. Clinton had committed a serious federal felony, he declined to prosecute.

I feel sorry for them sometimes.

Patrick Fitzgerald Retreats From Plame 'Covert' Claim

Leakgate Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald dropped a mini-bombshell Friday afternoon while he was explaining his indictment of Lewis "Scooter" Libby to the press.

It turns out that the central premise of his investigation - that Valerie Plame Wilson enjoyed protected "covert" status at the CIA - may not be true.

"Let me say two things," Fitzgerald told reporters. "I am not speaking to whether or not Valerie Wilson was covert . . . And we have not made any allegation that Mr. Libby knowingly or intentionally outed a covert agent."
