3. YVW - the big thanks goes to whoever posted this on Can-o-Fun

I'm wondering if that is DU's liveoaktx. This person does not have a DU profile, but they often post Can-o-Fun videos at DU and have the web site on each of their posts.

Whoever it is, they and the few others like DU's dzika (David Edwards) are doing a great service to us and really to the entire country by making important video clips available to see, share and discuss.

I just checked the NYT Home Page on a tip that the video was there, but what was there was only a 25 second introductory summary by Fitzgerald, not the full press conference. It's not clear that this is the case until the video is opened and run.

Please read this thread - Rivkin and Casey even strongly imply that Saddam WAS trying to get yellowcake from Niger and that Wilson was just beeing peevish! And that's not all. They even repeat the old one that Wilson claimed that Cheney asked him to go to Africa, though that's been rebutted again and again. The other WaPo editorial from the same issue doesn't quite lie llke Rivkin and Casey, but it's just a recital of distored GOP talking points about the Fitzgerald investigation.

WE know the WaPo can't be trusted, but these pieces of lying propaganda are going to be cited like gospel from the floor of Congress and all over the country. I feel strongly that this outrages needs to be opposed in the media in and in an LTTE campaign.

(The difference from the relatively balanced, comprehensive treatment by the LA Times couldn't be more marked:
