It will be difficult for Bush to get much of anything substantive done from this point forward. His 2nd term agenda has been shot down from the beginning; Social Seciruty - dead; Reforming tax code - never got off the ground; Spreading Democracy in Iraq - work in slow and weary progress.
His only victory has been John Roberts, and that wasn't that much of a blow to Dems.
Instead, we have: Ballooning inflation Terry Schiavo fiasco Record oil company profits Record gas prices Failed Supreme Court nomination Failed federal response to natural disasters 2,000+ dead soldiers Worst second term approval ratings of any modern president and finally, indicted chief of staff to the Vice President.
They claimed the had a "mandate" for change, NOW WE HAVE IT! Sick 'em DCCC and DSCC!
on edit: added some failures.
