Not Indicting Rove, But Keeping Under Investigation Is Great For Our Side |
|
Why?
If Rove was indicted, he leaves the WH. They find another baby-Fascist, and away they go.
If Rove was not indicted and cleared, he continues his evil ways.
If Rover is not indicted but kept under investigation, then the story goes on and on. Libby's trial will spill over, and Rove will be under pressure day in and day out. He's in a box. He's weak, and the other fascists will see this power vaccum and try to fill it. Look for the Bush WH to fall into intercine battles between pro-Karl and anti-Karl forces. They will eat each other.
This is great for us. A year ago, I didn't think that I would ever smile again.

1. Yes, now Fitzgerald has leverage. |

He can keep his axe to the throat of the White House until it coughs out the bigger fish.

If this were all wrapped up in a tidy package, it would be much easier for *Co to quickly shove it in a deep hole somewhere.
This keeps it in the public eye for a while longer. Even if nothing else happens, for the next few weeks the press will be speculating til their spleens burst and the general public will be hammered on a daily basis by the "The Bush Administration is Corrupt and Weak" meme.
Have on, Brother Fitz, Have on.

3. I Can't Understand How People See This As A Defeat |

This is a lot better than being indicted.
