5. Nah, it only means Fitz wants to go have a beer on a Friday after
an hour long press conference carried on every cable news channel.

8. Unbelieveable. They are so desperate that they are trying
to analyze his body language? Boy, I hope they have a huge surprise coming.

9. Could it just be
He finally got to speak aloud about the indictment ? You could see he seemed thrilled to have that burden lifted off of him.

I felt only one phase was over he was guarded with whats to come.

13. WHAT body language!!!!
I watched the whole damn thing. He spoke to the camera, without notes. No flinching, no blinking. And he SAID that it was not over...that they were continuing to explore Mr. Rove's participation, a statement echoed by his official spokesman saying a newly impaneled grand jury would continue to look at Rove. On the other hand, David Brooks, while attempting to put the best face possible on the thing on the PBS newshour, was sweating, blinking and nervously giggling. I saw nothing in Mr. Fitzgerald's presentation except straightforward exposition. Good grief!!!!

15. I heard it on the radio
He went so fast and spoke without ever having to search for a word or a phrase. I thought he was reading from a prepared script. Wow, I'm more impressed now that I know he did that without notes.

19. It was fascinating to watch him, Catch it if you can!
I turned to my husband after about fifteen minutes and said, uh honey? Look at him, it is all in his head, he has not looked at a note!

Amazing to see a news conference with a person of that intellect. as opposed to our chimp who can not even read a fucking TelePrompter without screwing up!

21. I never heard Fitzgerald say he was going to continue exploring
Edited on Fri Oct-28-05 07:01 PM by Marr
Rove's participation in the leak. I heard him say something to the effect of 'if new information becomes available I will act on it', but I heard nothing about a continued investigation of Rove.

14. So now they're experts on body language?
Why don't they ever weigh in on our Glorious Leader's body language? They could do an 8 hour documentary on that topic.

17. Dudes.. the man was behind a podium...
These so called body readers are a hoot. I'm certain it would give Fitzgerald no end of amusement to hear grown men talking about his damn body language as it realates to issues of NATIONAL SECURITY. Next.. Jim Lehrer breaks chicken eggs looking for spots of blood to prove Rove's innocence. This is just pathetic.

18. Maybe I should do a Tarot Reading
and find out if it's over. I can't see how anyone could know for sure. Fitz didn't say it was over. I just don't get it. I watched the same press conference and he didn't say anything about it being over.

20. I agree that it's basically over. But just out of curiosity- exactly what
kind of body language means "my investigation is over"? That idea seems a tad too specific to communicate through body language.
